As an indispensable component of the new power system, Hechu's flexible energy storage products can help to mitigate the volatility and intermittency of wind power and photovoltaic power generation on the power generation side, promote the participation of new energy power plants in peak regulation, and alleviate the pressure on grid peak regulation; flexible energy storage on the grid side has the ability to participate in grid peak regulation and frequency response, making up for the peak regulation and frequency regulation gap of the grid after the large-scale access of new energy generation. Flexible energy storage has the ability to regulate active and reactive power in four quadrants. Under events such as grid disturbances, oscillations, and short-circuit faults, it can support the stability of grid power angle, voltage, and frequency, and provide black start function; flexible energy storage on the user side can help power users to shave peaks and fill valleys, reduce electricity costs, improve power supply quality, and provide emergency backup power, indirectly promoting the consumption level of green electricity on the user side.
Flexible energy storage technology is Hechu's third-generation energy storage technology. It creatively proposes a new energy storage unit circuit topology and control architecture, realizing intrinsic electrical topology safety. The full-current control system achieves super battery management capabilities with granularity refined to the PACK level. This technology, with its ultra-strong SOC balancing capability, achieves full-current SOC balancing (≥140A) between and within battery clusters, solving the problems of series capacity loss, parallel circulation, and safety hazards caused by overcharging and over-discharging due to the rigid series-parallel connection of conventional integrated technologies, increasing the system's single discharge amount by 5%, the total life cycle discharge amount by about 20%, and reducing the total life cycle cost by 15%. It avoids safety problems caused by battery abuse and operation with faults from the source.
Hechu focuses on R&D. Currently, the core product development team has nearly 40 people, with R&D and product capabilities covering power electronic equipment from 10kW to 5MW per unit. The average working experience is more than 13 years.
